This bill would require states to create minimum safety rules for how schools prevent and treat concussions for all students. These rules would mean schools educate students and staff, remove students from sports if a concussion is suspected, and provide support for recovery. States that don't follow these rules could lose some federal education money.

This bill would create new rules for very large transportation projects, like major highways or bridges, that cost $2.5 billion or more. It would require state agencies getting federal money for these projects to plan for risks, get expert advice, and share more information with the public. The goal is to help prevent cost overruns and delays on these huge projects.
