This bill would let the Department of Labor encourage and support the teaching of artificial intelligence (AI) skills in apprenticeship programs. This means apprentices could get training to help them adapt to new technologies and secure their jobs. The bill would also help employers and training programs get guidance on using AI responsibly.

The "Greenlighting Growth Act" would make it simpler for certain businesses to go public or make other applications. It would reduce the amount of old financial information they need to share about companies they acquired. This change would apply to both emerging growth companies and those that used to be considered emerging growth companies.
