This bill would require the President to begin the process of pulling the United States out of NATO within 30 days of it becoming law. It would also immediately stop all U.S. government money from going to NATO's shared budgets. This means American taxpayers would no longer help fund the alliance, and the U.S. would change its role in global defense.

This bill would make sure the U.S. government's gold is fully checked by an independent auditor for the first time in over 65 years. The audit would count and inspect all gold, including what's held by others, and the public would see the detailed results every five years. This would bring transparency to the nation's gold holdings.
