This bill, called the Farmers Lifeline to Overcoming Disasters (FLOOD) Act, would expand an existing federal conservation program. It would allow money from the Regional Conservation Partnership Program to be used for emergency watershed protection measures. This means farmers, landowners, and communities could get more support to protect their land from floods and other water-related disasters.
