These reports would show if any of these pardoned individuals have committed new crimes or had run-ins with law enforcement since their pardon. Right now, no such public reports are required.

This bill would create a national oral history program at the Library of Congress. It would collect video, audio, and written accounts from people affected by the January 6, 2021, events at the U.S. Capitol. This includes lawmakers, staff, police, and witnesses. These stories and materials would then be made available to the public through the National Digital Library.
