Hydropower companies would face fewer hurdles for routine maintenance and minor changes to their facilities. This bill also creates a faster approval process for small-scale water-based energy projects, like those using waves or currents, aiming to speed up their development. It would change how the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reviews these drugs, requiring them to justify and give quick notice if certain studies are needed. This resolution would set the rules for how the House of Representatives considers three specific bills related to firearms, undersea cables, and energy resources. It would also pause certain deadlines for Congress. This pause affects joint resolutions that aim to end national emergencies declared by the President in 2025. This means these bills would move forward with specific debate rules and pre-approved changes. Congress would also have more time to review certain national emergency declarations.

Federal rules would set the standard for dietary supplements, limiting state-specific regulations. This bill would stop states from making their own rules for dietary supplements that are different from federal ones. This means supplement makers would follow one set of rules nationwide, while consumers might see fewer unique state protections.
